When my family moved into our first home, I was eager to create a space that felt both beautiful and functional. But bringing that vision to life proved more challenging than I expected. As a stay-at-home mom craving a creative outlet, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
Through the process, I uncovered a passion for home design and developed practical strategies to ease the overwhelm and uncertainty that often come with turning a house into a home. These insights—combined with my natural creative instincts and business background—inspired me to launch a home design consulting business.
My goal? To offer a simpler, less intimidating way to craft a home that feels intentional and uniquely yours.
My journey down this path has been fueled by my diverse professional background. My business degree afforded me over a decade of invaluable work experience in New York City where I held diverse roles spanning finance, marketing, and business development. In the design world, it’s widely acknowledged that design itself constitutes merely 20% of the job. This underscores the significance of business skills, not just creative skills, for a home design project’s overall success (ranging from refining processes to managing budgets and fostering clear communication).
This brand represents the perfect fusion of my business skills and creativity. And most importantly right now, I’ve been able to build a business structure that allows me to put my family first. My family is what inspires me and has provided me with newfound confidence to forge my own path in helping others create special spaces to live and love in.
Drawing design inspiration from NYC’s vibrant and eclectic energy and the character of historic homes, my style can be described as Transitional or Modern Classic—a blend of old-world charm and contemporary elements.
I now live in Skaneateles, NY with my husband and 3 young kids and serve the surrounding 30-mile radius. We’ve recently purchased a new home and this fresh start has reignited my passion. I can’t wait to help others on their journey to create a home they love as we do the same!
